Job responsibilities:

  • Compile engaging compilation videos tailored to the channel’s audience.
  • Partner with designers to create eye-catching thumbnails, making adjustments as needed.
  • Manage and publish diverse content formats, including shorts, community posts, and live streams.
  • Contribute to posting strategy discussions and content planning efforts.
  • Monitor key channel metrics and provide clear, data-driven monthly performance reports.
  • Coordinate with producers and team leads to efficiently resolve content-related issues.
  • Produce and publish content that aligns with the channel’s overall strategy and goals.
  • Use analytics to inform content decisions and guide strategic adjustments.
  • Proactively pitch and execute ideas aimed at boosting engagement and expanding audience reach.
  • Participate in content experiments and contribute to new strategic initiatives.
  • Identify content-related technical issues and collaborate with IT for prompt resolution.
  • Maintain the health of the page by ensuring compliance with monetization policies and resolving any claims or flags.
  • Keep internal documentation up to date and ensure all work aligns with team strategies and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Proven success managing both long and short-form YouTube content.
  • Deep understanding of the YouTube platform, including content trends, algorithm dynamics, and best practices.
  • Strong eye for design with hands-on experience in thumbnail creation and optimization for higher click-through rates.
  • Solid grasp of YouTube Analytics and other performance tools, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and a resourceful, can-do attitude.
  • Familiarity with content publishing tools, scheduling systems, and community engagement features.
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced, content-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of YouTube monetization policies, copyright/claims management, and platform compliance standards.
  • A creative mindset with a passion for digital media, storytelling, and audience engagement.
