Job responsibilities:

• Develop clear, engaging, and dynamic storyboards based on scripts, visualize scenes, characters, and action sequences with proper framing, pacing, and shot composition, ensure the storyboard aligns with the project's tone, style, and storytelling goals

• Collaborate with lead-storyboarder, script-writers,, and other team members to refine storytelling elements

• Create expressive character poses, facial expressions, and gestures that convey emotions and actions effectively

• Deliver storyboards within tight deadlines

• Storymatic/animatic creation experience wοuld be a plus

Requirements:

• Years of Professional Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in creating storyboards or storymatics for animation, film, or similar visual storytelling projects.

• Education: Degree in Animation, Visual Arts, Film Production, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory if portfolio demonstrates exceptional skills)

• Professional Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of storytelling principles, pacing, and shot composition, cinematography techniques, including camera angles and transitions, rules of anatomy, perspective, and composition, ability to adapt to and maintain the project’s artistic style, familiarity with the constraints of 2D rigging and how to storyboard accordingly, skills in simplifying character and object designs for background

• Experience in producing content for viral or online platforms (YouTube preferred) is a plus.

• Knowledge of Specific Software Programs/Tools: Proficiency in storyboard creation tools, such as Storyboard Pro (preferred), Photoshop, PaintToolSai. Basic familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Slack

• English: A2-B1 or higher to ensure effective communication within a remote, international team.

• Other Job-Specific Requirements: Availability to work in tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work under pressure, ability to incorporate feedback and make revisions efficiently, basic understanding of YouTube trends and audience preferences for viral animated content.

• Personal Characteristics: Creative and resourceful with a strong passion for storytelling, attention to detail, ensuring continuity and clarity in storyboards, team player with excellent communication skills, proactive and self-motivated, especially in a remote work environment, open to learning and adapting to new tools or styles as needed
