We’re seeking a highly analytical and platform-savvy Social Media Marketing (SMM) Lead to drive performance-led strategies across international client projects. This mid-to-senior level role requires a dual strength in both strategic development and tactical execution. The ideal candidate thrives on data, understands the nuances of social media algorithms, and can transform insights into impactful content and campaign decisions.
You’ll be responsible for leading social growth and performance strategies across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook—supporting content creators, brands, and entertainment-focused clients. Your ability to connect audience behavior with content outcomes will be key to success.
Job responsibilities:
- Build data-informed, platform-specific strategies that drive engagement, reach, retention, and revenue.
- Lead channel audits and benchmarking to extract actionable insights, understand algorithm shifts, and identify competitive gaps.
- Design full-funnel campaign strategies—across organic, paid, and influencer ecosystems—that align with clients' goals.
- Stay ahead of platform innovations, emerging formats, and best practices in social growth, SEO, and monetization.
- Own social media performance reporting across all key channels. Define KPIs, build dashboards, and interpret trends.
- Use data to continuously test, learn, and optimize campaigns and content formats.
- Translate analytics into clear insights and strategic recommendations, backed by evidence.
- Track and report ROI of paid and organic initiatives, influencer campaigns, and audience development efforts.
- Drive end-to-end campaign execution, coordinating between creative, paid media, and community teams.
- Collaborate on multi-platform engagement funnels (e.g. social-to-app, social-to-game).
- Maintain accountability for timelines, deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
- Guide clients through performance reviews, data-driven strategy presentations, and innovation roadmaps.
- Lead social audits and projections to support pitch development and growth forecasting.
- Contribute to upsell efforts by highlighting analytical gaps and untapped platform potential.
- Partner with Social Media Managers and Analysts to ensure analytical rigor and creative alignment.
- Coach junior team members on data-driven thinking and social platform mechanics.
- Act as a connector across internal teams, ensuring strategy translates to execution and results.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of social media marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a strategic or team leadership capacity.
- Proven ability to analyze and act on social performance data—from retention metrics to engagement rates and content lifespan.
- Expertise in social platform algorithms, SEO for social, and audience behavior.
- Comfortable using tools like Google Analytics, Sprout, Creator Studio, Social Blade, Looker, or similar platforms.
- Experience across both organic and paid media, including influencer integrations and direct-response campaigns.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for clients and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with international content markets; experience with entertainment, youth, or brand-driven social is a plus.
