As Operations Manager you will act as a critical partner to Production, leading the Operations Management functions of Production Operations, ensuring strategic plans are met on time, on budget, and creative product can be amplified.
In this strategic role, you will lead all administrative functions of TheSoul Publishing’s production, reporting to the VP, Production Operations.
Additionally, you will collaborate with various departments, contribute to strategy by owning key projects, and act as a partner to Creative Production.
This role requires strong communication, leadership, financial and analytical skills, along with experience in project management and/or media production.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong business acumen; dedicated to bring effectiveness to the production process while meeting company vision and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Define, manage and streamline daily operations of the Operations Management functions of Production Operations
- Ensure operational excellence in Creative Production, through automation, optimisation, and simplification of processes
- Act as a key point of contact with Creative Production, Expertise Hubs, IT, HR, Finance and other stakeholders
- Drive actionable initiatives through cross-functional collaboration, while ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term objectives set by the company;
- Oversee the scaling of production and global expansion of the business;
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on production and operations projects;
- Lead Production Operational Management teams;
- Conduct ongoing reviews of production budgets; prepare and allocate budgets;
- Maintain and report on global production operational metrics;
- Identify, recommend new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials;
Foster growth-oriented, positive environment by empowering and developing Production Operational management team

Professional background
- BA/BS Degree (IT, engineering, business or related field)
- Solid experience in Operations, Media Production Management can be advantageous;
- Experience in fast-moving, international environment with large scale operations;
- Solid process improvement skills with a proven track record of building world class teams;
- Experience in bringing change and innovation on the company-wide level
- Experience with budget responsibilities, financial analysis, data driven decision making, and strategic planning;
- Experience in Project Management, managing a diverse number of complex cross-functional projects simultaneously;
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and supervise operational activities;
- Experience in leading large and complex teams across different countries and time zones;
